SMARTNET BG is the new name of Bulgarian GNSS services. After more than a year working on the project for unification of the existing network of reference stations from iPOS and completion of the present project SMARTNET BG, through strategic partnerships with Metrisys - official representative of Leica for Bulgaria on 23-rd of November 2010 at Sheraton Hotel, Sofia was presented the - largest union in the provision of services through a global navigation satellite system for the Bulgarian market. On the 2-nd of Octomber 2009 the traditional seminar: New Geodetic Tools and Technologies was held in the House of science and technology - Plovdiv, organized by The Union of Surveyors and Land Managers in BULGARIA. The first report on the subject was lectured by Stanimir Stoykov - Commercial Director BuliPOS. He announced the intentions of his company to offer navigational services and solutions for the surveyors in Bulgaria. In August BuliPOS realized one of its main priorities - trans-boundary cooperation between Bulgaria and Serbia / Romania started as from 24.08.2009 three new GNSS stations were set along the western boundary. On the 27.08.2009 our northern neighbouring countries joined us with extra three receivers. BuliPOS as part of the largest global navigational community in Europe made this happen for it realized the standards of the EUPOS initiative.On the 19-th of May 2009 in Sofia, the official inauguration of BULIPOS system took place. |
